URGENT: Email your MP ahead of the 8 June debate
Over the past few months, over a hundred thousand people have signed a petition demanding that Parliament act to ensure that bills backed by MPs and the public - like the assisted dying Bill - are not allowed to quietly disappear.
Now, thanks to that public pressure, on 8 June MPs will debate the petition in Parliament - the first time assisted dying will be debated by MPs since the House of Commons voted in support of the Bill nearly a year ago.
After an enormous response to Rankin’s new short film featuring terminally ill people calling on MPs to back assisted dying again, we now want to make sure every MP sees this video before the debate.
Email your MP today and ask them to watch the film, attend the debate on 8 June, and ensure the voices of dying people are heard in Parliament.
Thank you for emailing your MP
Your email makes a real difference. As MPs prepare for the assisted dying petition debate on 8 June, it is important they hear clearly from their constituents and understand the strength of feeling behind this issue.
